Rash guards may be worn under the gi for training in jiu jitsu with a gi, and is the most worn top for no-gi g jiu jitsu. While many gyms will allow students to train in a t shirt, most athletes will find a rash guard to be far more comfortable and outperform a t shirt on the mats.
